The city of Seattle was granted an expansion franchise this past season, and the CEO of the construction of their arena says the team will be on track to play for 2020, according to Seattle’s Fox affiliate.

According to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet, the Blackhawks are expected to trade Hossa’s contract, along with winger Vinnie Hinostroza and defenseman Jordan Oesterle, to the Arizona Coyotes. This would free up $5.275 million in cap hit for each of the next three seasons from Hossa’s contract. Hinostroza was set to have a cap hit of $1.5 million for the next two seasons.
