White Sox Prospect Micker Adolfo to Have Tommy John Surgery

Outfielder Micker Adolfo is heading to the DL for 8-10 weeks, as he needs Tommy John surgery.

He is yet another prospect to have to go onto the DL this year for the White Sox.  Jake Burger, the 2017 first round pick for Chicago, has torn his Achilles twice this year alone and he will miss the entire 2018 season. Eloy Jimenez and Louis Robert are on the DL as well.

Adolfo had a .283 batting average, 11 homers, and 50 RBIs in 78 games for the Advanced Single-A Winston-Salem Dash.  He will turn 22 this September.
