Brett Brown Believes Sixers Need Help

After a disappointing 4-1 series loss against a Boston Celtics team without Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward, Sixers coach Brett Brown addressed the media and told them that he believes that the team would need some help to be the championship team that he and the team aspire to be.

Without naming any names, Brown did talk about how the team finally has clarity and will be looking at free agents going forward. The team will look at free agents with their stars Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid in mind but Brown did insist that if the incoming free agent was great, then they would definitely be able to figure it out. If the Sixers renounce their rights to J.J. Redick, Ersan Ilyasova, Marco Belinelli, and Amir Johnson, then they would have $25 million this off-season. The Sixers even have a chance to increase their cap space to $35.4 which would be enough to entice LeBron James.
