-The Seattle Seahawks use a controversial lateral play to beat the Philadelphia Eagles 24-10.

-The New England Patriots beat the Buffalo Bills 23-3. During the game, Rob Gronkowski was involved a controversial play which he went on to admit was out of frustration. He has since apologized but the Bills still think it was a dirty play.

-Baltimore Ravens cornerback Jimmy Smith suffered a season-ending achilles injury on Sunday and was also suspended for violating the league’s policy on performance-enhancing substances.

-Former Jets coach and ESPN employee, Herm Edwards has been hired as the headcoach for the Arizona State Sun Devils. This will be his first time coaching in the collegiate ranks since 1989.

-Shaun Linvinston was ejected for bumping into the referee in a 123-95 victory over the Miami Heat.

-James Harden puts up 36 points and 9 assists to lead the Houston Rockets over the Los Angeles Lakers.

-The Los Angeles Lakers are enforcing an already existing rule that prohibits media members from congregating by a family member or associate of a player at the end of a game. Many are referring to this as the “LaVar Ball rule”

-Derrick Rose has reported to team practice to meet with team officials and start the return progress.

-Ohtani has crossed off, among other teams, the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees from his list. The only teams he is considering right now are the Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Angels, San Diego Padres, Seattle Mariners,Texas Rangers, Chicago Cubs, and San Francisco Giants.
