Former Giants wide-receiver, Victor Cruz agreed to a new one-year deal with the Chicago Bears. Cruz confirmed the news with his very own Instagram post earlier today. Cruz, now 30, was with the Giants for 7 years and was an integral part of their Super Bowl XLVI team. His quick rise to fame, along with his unlikely story of being an undrafted player out of UMASS, made him one of the most popular players to dawn the Giants uniform but injuries really slowed him down over the last couple years. Him and the Giants did not necessarily end up on the greatest terms as the team did not even make an effort to re-sign him but the fans will surely miss some of his salsa dances and Cruz will now have to learn to play on an NFL team that aren’t the Giants for the first time.
