After apparently not getting a guarantee to be drafted in the first-round by any team, Hamidou Diallo of Kentucky decided to return to school for his sophomore year. That will ensure that Kentucky will have 6 former 5-star recruits on their roster next year. Diallo had the rare chance to be a none-and-done player as he had never played a college game but now he goes from non-contributer, to a big x-factor on how the Wildcat’s season turns out. With so many freshmen coming in, he will be looked to lead in some way and has the chance to be one of the go-to guys for his team. If he can show even spurts of his versatility, that should be enough to help him cash in along with his elite athleticism.
