Fantasy Basketball Sleepers 12/10

By: Kento Kato

With some shakeups in the NBA, here are some of under the radar guys to take a look at in fantasy basketball right now.

Patty Mills- He is only owned in 44% of leagues on Yahoo and is a candidate to go off on any given night for daily fantasy. He is averaging 11.4ppg, 2.1rpg 3.6apg and two 3pt made on the season. He is putting up those numbers on 49% shooting and 94% from the free throw line. With Tony Parker being in and out of the lineup, he has continued to rack up minutes and is averaging 23mpg, which is a career-high.

Besides two subpar games, Mills has been playing well.

Ersan Ilyasova- Ilyasova is owned in just 59% of leagues on Yahoo, but he is putting up very solid numbers. Since being traded to the Sixers, he is averaging 14.2ppg, 6.3rpg, 1.8apg, and two 3pt made on 46% shooting. If you need scoring, 3’s and some rebounds, you can do a lot worse than Ilyasova right now and with Nerlens Noel and Jahlil Okafor out, he should continue to see the 27mpg that he averages right now.

Ilyasova has been on a roll as of late.

Thabo Sefolosha- If you need a little boost in multiple categories and have a spot on your roster, then Sefolosha may be a worth a look. Sefolosha has played at least 29 minutes since being put in the stating lineup and with Tim Hardaway Jr. down with a knee injury, he should continue to get minutes. As you can see below, he has put up some solid numbers all across the board in his last three. He is owned in just 19% of leagues on Yahoo but since he is not likely to go off, he may not be a great pick for daily fantasy.

Sefolosha has been doing a little bit of everything since becoming a starter.

Andre Roberson- He is far from a sexy pick, but he is owned in just 15% of leagues on Yahoo and he is a good candidate as a punt-pick to go along with Russell Westbrook in daily fantasy. He is coming off his best 5-game stretch of the season, averaging 9.2ppg, 4.8rpg, 1.2apg, 1.6bpg, 1.2spg, and 1.4 three-pointers made per game.

A good candidate for a punt-play in daily fantasy.
